Week 27 of 52.
Perfect Timing is a weekly photography project by two friends who met in college, became roommates and have been close ever since. We share a love for languages and travel, and although we're from the same southern state, we now live on different continents, balancing a demanding work life with a private life. We both agree that everything happens for a reason, whether we see these moments as positive or negative at the time, propelling us ahead or slowing us down. We hope you will join us each week, as we share little moments of Perfect Timing with you.
Normally I leave work in the evening and head home in a trance - knowing my way home, having taken the same way for so long it's not necessary to think about it...or anything for that matter. But this week I forced myself to take my time on my way home, so with camera in hand I headed out the office door. I must say it was difficult I kept finding myself daydreaming and would have to pull myself back to reality, back to the moment I was in. And you know what? It paid off. I learned something. I found out that if you want to park in the city, well no better place than parking in your living room... ;)
I knew from the moment we met that it'd be a lasting friendship. Kindred spirits. It was as if we had always known each other. Like family. My dear friend Madalena of my personal coffee break. When she's not busy running her own company, she is out exploring new places, jogging or enjoying a great cup of joe. I am sure you will adore her as much as I do. Please take a moment to check out her "Perfect Timing" photo from this week: "cheers to another year”.
