Week 14 of 52.

Perfect Timing is a weekly photography project by two friends who met in college, became roommates and have been close ever since. We share a love for languages and travel, and although we're from the same southern state, we now live on different continents, balancing a demanding work life with a private life. We both agree that everything happens for a reason, whether we see these moments as positive or negative at the time, propelling us ahead or slowing us down. We hope you will join us each week, as we share little moments of Perfect Timing with you.

Getting ready in the morning this week and noticed the fresh snow that had fallen the night before on our balcony. I had to take a second out of our hectic morning and try to hold this moment.

Timing is rarely perfect. It's in our hands, along with our attitude - our perspective, to make it perfect...or at least special.

I knew from the moment we met that it'd be a lasting friendship. Kindred spirits. It was as if we had always known each other. Like family. My dear friend Madalena of my personal coffee break. When she's not busy running her own company, she is out exploring new places, jogging or enjoying a great cup of joe. I am sure you will adore her as much as I do. Please take a moment to check out her "Perfect Timing" photo from this week: "diversity".

This is so true. It's hard sometimes to just take that moment and take it in. But I think it's good practice and really allows us to be in the moment and gain perspective. Love the crispness of this shot. :)
